Support provision in law that enables under-utilized technologies. Advocate for Administration to continue support for small and mid-sized farmers and rural businesses to access distributed wind power (and other technologies) thru USDA support generally.

Energy/Nuclear

Support DOE Wind program office for wind power development particularly for distributed wind power market segment. This is a long-standing office and program, which is effective, and helps small businesses across the US. Support relevant appropriations for the office and program, as well as distributed wind power in particular. Distributed wind power helps farmers, rural businesses, and many others lower energy costs, and improve the bottom line, as well as improve environmental quality for communities.
