NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STUDENT FINANCIAL AID ADMINISTRATORS

Lobbying related to legislation and regulation impacting higher education and student aid administration and funding, including the implementation of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. NASFAA has also engaged in lobbying efforts related to the implementation of the Federal Methodology (FM) and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) changes made through the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021. NASFAA also lobbies for the funding of the federal student aid programs, through the annual budget and appropriations process and other proposed legislation and regulation.
