Agriculture

I lobbied in opposition to the EATS Act, whose current versions are the Save Our Bacon Act (H.R. 4673) and the Food Security and Farm Protection Act (S. 1326), in addition to encouraging members of Congress to join congressional letter opposing the EATS Act. I also lobbied for general reform of agricultural checkoff programs and the general priorities of the MAHA movement as it relates to agriculture - with a focus on the MAHA commission report. Additionally, I lobbied in support of mandatory country of origin labeling, specifically the American Beef Labeling Act (S. 421), in support of expanding access to custom slaughterhouses via the PRIME Act (H.R. 4700), and in support of farm-to-school programs with the Strengthening Local Food Security Act (S. 2338).
