o Advocating for reliable and sufficient funding for the National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD) o Reintroduction of legislation to provide college financial aid flexibility for college students with disabilities, such as the 118th Congress Pell Grant Flexibility Act (HR 4931)/Higher Education Grant Flexibility Act (S 4379) o Respond, Innovate, Succeed, and Empower (RISE) Act (118th Congress HR 2401/S 1071) reintroduction and passage. o HR 1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act, Titles I, VII, VIII, issues pertaining to Housing, Food Assistance, Research, Health Care, College Endowments, Student Financial Aid, and Access to Education as they relate to college students with disabilities o FY26 Appropriations - advocating continued, sufficient funding for the National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD), Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO), Pell Grants, Transition and Postsecondary Programs for Students with Intellectual Disabilities (TPSID), and National Technical Assistance Center on Transition (NTACT)
