Lobbying activity
3
Lobbying activities are around wildfire mitigation, hazardous fuels reduction, and forest resilience as well as the reauthorization of the surface highway transportation bill.
Work conducted was primarily with agencies to understand where pinch points exist in implementing large-scale landscapes required to reduce wildfire risk to communities, such as hazardous fuels mitigation, vegetation management, and stewardship work on federal lands.
Work was conducted with congressional staff to raise the issues of wildfire-safe transportation corridors for the movement of goods overland, safe evacuation routes for people, and minimizing the risk of catastrophic wildfire.
