Cultural Property Repose Act of 1985 - Prohibits a foreign state from bringing an action in any U.S. or State court to recover possession of or obtain damages related to any archaeological or ethnological material or any article of cultural property which has been in the United States under specified circumstances.

Applies such prohibition to pending court proceedings.
