This bill would amend federal law to require the Department of Veterans Affairs to make sure a suicide prevention coordinator is available at each of its medical centers whenever needed to help veterans with suicide prevention planning, including during times when the medical center is normally closed. The bill is currently in the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs.
