This resolution commends Taiwan for its example of self-governance and regards Taiwan's democracy as a great strategic strength for the free world. The resolution also expresses concern about Chinese Communist Party interference in Taiwan's 2024 elections and expresses commitment to continuing a strong partnership with Taiwan regardless of the outcome of the elections.

The resolution states that nothing in it shall be construed as an authorization for the use of military force.
