Venezuela Defense of Human Rights and Civil Society Reauthorization Act of 2023

This bill extends through 2025 authorizations for certain sanctions related to Venezuela. These include (1) sanctions against persons committing violence and human rights violations in Venezuela, (2) sanctions against persons acting on behalf of Russia supporting Venezuelan security forces, (3) restrictions on export of defense articles and services to Venezuela, and (4) restrictions on visas to senior Venezuelan officials.
