This bill increases the mileage of the Appalachian Development Highway System (ADHS) from 3,090 miles to 3,105 miles to provide for improvements to and expansion of Corridor K in North Carolina. (The ADHS is a system of designated corridors and roadways within the 13 states that make up the Appalachian Region which is eligible for federal highway funds and intended to contribute to the region's economic development. Corridor K is one of the designated corridors in the ADHS.)
