Supporting American Independence in Innovation Act of 2023
This bill prohibits the Department of Energy from disbursing any financial award, such as a grant, to any entity that (1) is in a joint venture with a state-owned enterprise owned by China, or (2) has a board of directors that includes an individual who has participated in a foreign talent recruitment program administered by China.
