Department of Energy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission Whistleblower Protection Act
This bill revises protections for the rights of whistleblowers of nuclear safety violations. Specifically, the bill clarifies that employees of either the Department of Energy (DOE) or the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) may seek civil remedies if their employers discriminate against them for blowing the whistle on nuclear safety violations.
