Building Unity through Dual Sponsors Resolution or the BUDS Resolution
This bill permits two Members of the House of Representatives to jointly sponsor legislation if one is from the majority party and one is from the minority party.
Under current House rules, only one Member may serve as the sponsor for a piece of legislation, though additional Members may serve as cosponsors.
