This resolution recognizes the threat climate change poses to the futures of children and youth. It also affirms the importance of U.S. global leadership in preventing the worst effects of climate change and mobilizing international cooperation to support those most vulnerable to climate shocks.
Referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and in addition to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
