This resolution condemns the killing of Alexei Navalny by the Russian government and expresses solidarity with Mr. Navalny's widow, family, attorneys, and colleagues, as well as all prisoners of conscience in Russia.  

The resolution also (1) urges the U.S. government and allied governments to work to secure the release of all political prisoners in Russia, and (2) calls on the Departments of State and the Treasury to impose additional sanctions on Russian authorities who played a role in the killing of Mr. Navalny.
