This resolution demands that the Chinese government and the Communist Party of China (CPC) immediately release Kai Li. The resolution also condemns the Chinese government and the CPC for denying Kai Li regular unmonitored communication with his family, access to U.S. diplomats, and independent and competent medical care.
Kai Li is a U.S. citizen who was convicted of espionage charges in China and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
