Families of Armed Forces Increased Relief Pensions Act or the FAIR Pensions Act

This bill eliminates the government pension offset for widows and widowers of veterans and surviving spouses or divorced parents caring for the children of veterans. The government pension offset reduces Social Security benefits for spouses, widows, and widowers who also receive government pensions of their own.
