Senators Can Help Underpin Military Engagement and Readiness Act or SCHUMER Act
This bill requires Members of Congress who advocate for providing military support to Ukraine to enlist in the U.S. military and serve not fewer than six months on active duty in support of a contingency operation.
Referred to the Committee on House Administration, and in addition to the Committee on Armed Services, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
