Seat of Government Act
This bill repeals the District of Columbia (DC) Home Rule Act. The DC Home Rule Act provides a charter for the local government of the District of Columbia authorizing DC officials to legislate, conduct elections, and otherwise govern over local affairs.
Referred to the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, and in addition to the Committee on Rules, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
