American Confidence in Elections: District of Columbia Ballot Security Act
This bill establishes requirements for the use of ballot drop boxes in District of Columbia (DC) elections.
The bill specifies that a drop box may only be used to collect absentee or mail-in ballots if (1) the box is located inside a DC government building or facility, (2) it is secured by 24-hour surveillance, and (3) ballots are collected every day after 5:00 p.m. during the election period.
