American Confidence in Elections: District of Columbia Election Fraud Prevention Act
This bill prohibits the collection and transmission of a ballot for a District of Columbia election by a person other than the person to whom it was mailed, with limited exceptions.
Exceptions exist for (1) election officials performing their official duties; (2) U.S. Postal Service employees and other individuals engaged in official duties to collect or transmit U.S. mail; and (3) a family member, household member, or caregiver of the person to whom the ballot was mailed.
