This bill reauthorizes, revises, and establishes programs related to weather forecasting, monitoring, and research for agriculture.

Specifically, the bill reauthorizes through FY2028 the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA's) National Integrated Drought Information System program, which coordinates drought monitoring and forecasting at the federal, tribal, state, and local levels.
