Public Service Transparency Act
This bill requires candidates for the office of President or Vice President, nominees for a cabinet-level position, and the current occupants of such positions to disclose their federal tax returns.
The bill authorizes the Office of Government Ethics to disclose such tax returns to the extent they are required to be made available.
Referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
