This bill expands eligibility for enrollment in the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program to employees of tribal colleges and universities.

Specifically, the bill makes tribal colleges and universities eligible to purchase coverage, rights, and benefits under the FEHB program for their employees. The following tribal employers are currently entitled to purchase coverage, rights, and benefits under the program for their employees: (1) an Indian tribe or tribal organization carrying out programs under the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, and (2) an urban Indian organization carrying out programs under the Indian Health Care Improvement Act.
