Supporting Adoptive Families Act

This bill requires the Center for Mental Health Services to award grants to states, tribal organizations, and nonprofit organizations to provide mental health services for adopted children. The bill also specifics that pre- and post-adoptive services include education, training, counseling, mentoring, and other direct services.

The Department of Health and Human Services also must issue rules providing for the collection and analysis of data about adoption disruption and dissolution.
