Protecting Outpatient Access Act of 2020
This bill expands the Paycheck Protection Program, established to support small businesses in response to COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019), to encompass certain outpatient care centers that are affiliates of nonprofit hospitals.
Such care centers include mental health and substance abuse centers, dialysis centers, health maintenance organization medical centers, and freestanding ambulatory surgical and emergency centers.
