Better Information Act of 2020
This bill requires private health insurance plans to include on insurance membership cards the
- hospital nearest to the primary residence of the plan holder,
- contact information for customer service,
- deductible amount applicable to the plan holder,
- out-of-pocket maximum applicable to the plan holder, and
- cost-sharing amount for in-network emergency or urgent care services applicable to the plan holder.
