Social Security Administration Accountability Act of
2019

This bill revises requirements regarding the content and submission of the annual budget for the Social Security Administration (SSA) and restricts the SSA from closing or consolidating a field or hearing office without providing specified notice and justification. The Government Accountability Office must report specified information relating to the average length of time for certain reviews of applications for disability insurance benefits.
