Health for Each American Less fortunate Through Help from medical professionals In Every Rural and impoverished area Act of 2019 or the HEALTHIER Act of 2019

This bill directs the Department of Health and Human Services to award two-year grants to states that adopt laws permitting the provision of specified volunteer health care services. Such laws must require that volunteer health care services are (1) administered by a health care provider that is licensed in another state, (2) within the scope of practice of such provider, and (3) provided to a rural or impoverished area within the state receiving the grant.
