Tribal TANF Fairness Act of 2019

This bill allows a tribal government to lease land held in trust or in fee at a fair market value for the administration of a tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. Current law treats such transactions as less-than-arm's-length leases, and amounts charged to federal grants for such leases must be based on certain costs associated with property ownership rather than fair market value.
