Protecting Foster Youth Resources to Promote Self-Sufficiency Act

This bill requires states to develop procedures to determine whether a child in foster care is eligible for Social Security or Supplemental Security Income benefits, expands requirements for states to manage such benefits on behalf of a foster child, and limits the use of such benefits for foster-care maintenance payments.
