Asylum Protection Act of 2018

This bill amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to: (1) replace the current deadline for an asylum application from 1 year to 30 days from the date an asylum seeker enters the United States, and (2) require an applicant who arrives at a designated port of entry to begin the asylum application at the time of arrival.
