This bill amends the War Powers Resolution to transfer to the House Armed Services Committee the responsibilities assigned under such resolution to the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
The Rules of the House of Representatives are amended to include under the jurisdiction of the House Armed Services Committee matters relating to intervention abroad and declarations of war.
Referred to the Committee on Rules, and in addition to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
