Competitive Deals Resulting in Unleashed Generics and Savings Act of 2017 or the Competitive DRUGS Act of 2017

This bill establishes a series of requirements and prohibitions regarding certain patent infringement agreements between brand name and generic drug manufacturers in which the generic drug manufacturer agrees to delay the availability of applicable generic drugs. Among other things, the bill specifies that such agreements constitute an unfair method of competition and are subject to specified civil penalties.
