Official title: To prohibit any person from soliciting or knowingly acquiring, receiving, or accepting a donation of human fetal tissue for any purpose other than disposal of the tissue if the donation affects interstate commerce and the tissue will be or is obtained pursuant to an induced abortion.

This bill amends the Public Health Service Act to prohibit the use of tissue from an induced abortion for research conducted or supported by the National Institutes of Health on the transplantation of fetal tissue for therapeutic purposes.

Soliciting or acquiring a donation of fetal tissue from an induced abortion for a purpose other than disposal is prohibited.
