Prepackaged News Story Announcement Act of 2005 - Amends the Communications Act of 1934 to require that any prepackaged news story produced by or on behalf of a federal agency and intended for broadcast over the air or distribution by a multichannel video programming distributor within the United States contain a clear notification that it was prepared or funded by the "United States Government."
