Dextromethorphan Distribution Act of 2006 - Amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to issue a final rule within one year of enactment of this Act to prohibit the distribution of unfinished dextromethorphan to any person other than a registered producer of drugs and devices.

Prohibits the distribution of unfinished dextromethorphan in violation of this Act.
