Texas Educator Retirement Equity Act - Amends title II (Old Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act to replace the 60-month period of employment requirement for application of the Government pension offset exemption with the rule that last applied before title II was amended with respect to state and local government employees covered by a public pension who subsequently elect coverage under Social Security pursuant to a voluntary agreement between the state and the Commissioner of Social Security.
