Declares Ana Esparza and Maria Munoz to each be eligible for issuance of an immigrant visa or for adjustment of status to that of an alien lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
Declares that title IV of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, which denies public benefits to aliens, shall not apply for purposes of determining the eligibility of such individuals for any Federal public benefit, including the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program under title XVI of the Social Security Act (SSA) and the food stamp program under the Food Stamp Act of 1977, any designated Federal program (SSA titles IV (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)) and XIX (Medicaid)), or any State or local benefit.
