Broadband Rural Research Investment Act of 2001 - Requires the Director of the National Science Foundation to research means of enhancing or facilitating: (1) the availability of broadband telecommunications services in rural and other remote areas; and (2) access to the Internet through such services. Requires the Director to make public the results of such research.
