Nursing Home Security Act of 2001 - Amends title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act (SSA) to increase by ten percentage points the Federal medical assistance percentage for nursing facility services furnished by a nursing facility in a quarter if: (1) on average during the quarter at least 85 percent of the facility residents are entitled to have payment made for such services under Medicaid; and (2) the State provides satisfactory assurances that additional payments to it resulting from such increase are used exclusively to provide for an increase in payments to such facilities, and do not result in a reduction in aggregate State expenditures for nursing facilities under the State plan.
