Medicare Outpatient Copayment Reduction Act of 2001 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act (SSA), as amended by the Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Benefits Improvement and Protection Act of 2000, with respect to the prospective payment system for hospital outpatient department (OPD) services, to provide for an extended period through 2010 of increased graduated reduction of the Medicare beneficiary copayment for a covered OPD service furnished under Medicare.
