Southern California Federal Judgeship Act of 2001 - Directs the President to appoint five additional district judges and three additional temporary district judges for the Southern District of California. Specifies that the first three vacancies occurring seven years or more after the confirmation date of all judges named to fill such temporary judgeships shall not be filled.
