Valley of Chiefs Native American Sacred Site Preservation Act of 2001 - Provides that lands within the Valley of the Chiefs (the Weatherman Draw Area of Critical Environmental Concern in Carbon County, Montana) shall not be: (1) open to the location of mining claims, mill, and tunnel sites under general U.S. mining laws; or (2) available for disposal of mineral materials under the Materials Act of 1947. Prohibits the Secretary of the Interior from: (1) issuing any lease under the Mineral Leasing Act or the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 for such lands; or (2) approving after June 6, 2001, any application for a permit to drill within the Valley of the Chiefs under any lease issued under the Mineral Leasing Act.
