Medicare Geographic Reclassifications Equity Act of 2001 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to make wage index adjustments to ensure that geographic reclassifications of hospitals from one urban area to another urban area produce no reduced wage indexes for the urban area in which the hospital was originally classified.
