Commends: (1) members of the task force that investigated the October sniper attacks in the Washington, D.C. area and specified others who assisted in that investigation; (2) the unprecedented coordination among local, State, and Federal government in working collectively to capture two alleged snipers; and (3) local officials, especially school principals and teachers, for their role in providing counseling and remaining calm. Declares that Congress expresses its condolences to the families and friends of the ten victims who died and its prayers for the recovery of the three victims who were wounded in the attacks.
