Expresses support for: (1) the objectives of the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons and for measures to attain them; and (2) strengthening the international verification system operated by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and for the new Additional Safeguards Protocol to the IAEA Safeguards Agreement that IAEA is negotiating with each adherent to the Treaty.

Calls on all parties participating in the Sixth Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference to make a good faith effort to ensure its success.
