Geographic Adjustment Fairness Act of 2000 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act, with respect to the payment formula of the prospective payment system (PPS) for inpatient hospital services, to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to adjust the proportion of each hospital's costs attributable to wages and wage-related costs (labor cost component) on the basis of the most recent data available on the hospital. (Currently the Secretary is required to make such adjustment based only on an estimate of the labor cost proportion of all hospitals involved (subsection (d) hospitals).)
