Haffenreffer Museum Restoration Act of 1997 - Requires the Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to make a grant to Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, for the Federal share (20 percent) of the costs of the relocation and expansion of the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology.

Authorizes appropriations.
