Community Health Improvement Act of 1993 - Amends title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act to provide for State operated community health authorities demonstration projects for testing the effectiveness of various innovative health care approaches in providing access to cost-effective prevention and primary care and related services for low-income residents of medically underserved areas.

Amends the Public Health Service Act to: (1) authorize grants for the development of health service networks in medically underserved areas; and (2) extend the authorization of appropriations for migrant and community health centers.
